Douglas, being the (almost) center of South Africa has so many activities and attractions to offer visitors and travelers. Douglas is situated North of the Karoo and South of the Kalahari. Douglas has the most beautiful sunsets. There are a lot of big diamond mines around Douglas.

Situated in the heart of Douglas, GWK Landzicht wine cellars is one of the handful of estates in the Northern Cape, so if you're near it you should most definitely stop by and taste some of the wine.

Douglas is a very green area and lies on the banks of the Vaal River. The Douglas Wine Cellar was established in 1968. The estate produces a variety of both desert and table wine.

The annual Ghaap RiverXtreme will be hosted at Broadwater River Estate, between Kimberley and Douglas. All proceeds go to our local charities. For three days you can look forward to great weather, amazing company and most importantly, fun! Activities include wake boarding, barefoot ski, road races, marathons, swimming over the Vaal river, stalls, entertainment and many more exciting stuff! Kids have not been forgotten and can keep busy in the kiddies entertainment area.

Beautiful lush green fairways with firm greens and a beautiful view over the Vaal river. Very good course for a small little town.
